Accelerate your builds with NPM caching!
Appflow team is excited to announce support for "NPM Caching" for builds. When your NPM package dependencies are not changing that frequently, dependency downloads and install create additional overheard during the build process. Reduce that overhead by enabling caching on your next build.
Simply toggle on the "caching" setting for the build. On the first build, Appflow will create the cache file based on your build configuration. On subsequent builds, when the feature is turned on, the cache file will be used. Depending on the application, you should expect approx. 30-50% reduction in the dependency install and hence faster builds times.
This setting can also be set at the app level to be automatically applied to all builds.
