Update 03.28.2023
Apple has released a post stating the Xcode 14.1 requirement starts on April 25th (previously “April 2023”). Thus, the Appflow team will set the new 2023.03 Build Stack to "Latest" around the middle of April.
A change from our previous update: iOS automations will not be automatically migrated to the new build stack, so please review your automations and update them as time permits before the April 25th deadline.
Update 03.24.2023
If you have an iOS Automation, it will be automatically migrated to the new build stack on Friday, March 31st, to meet Apple's "April 2023" deadline.
If you use the macOS 2021.06 and macOS 2021.09 build stacks that are set to be retired on April 30th, 2023, please note that any automations using them will now be automatically migrated to the 2023.03 build stack (instead of the 2022.10 stack).
-------------
Update 03.23.2023 - The 2023.03 macOS Build Stack has been released.
If you are building an iOS app with the intention of distributing it to the App Store, select build stack "macOS - 2023.03." If you have an iOS Automation, you must manually update it to the new build stack for it to be used.
-----------------
Apple has started sending the following message upon submitting an app to the App Store:
ITMS-90725: SDK Version Issue - This app was built with the iOS XX SDK. Starting April 2023, all iOS apps submitted to the App Store must be built with the iOS 16.1 SDK or later, included in Xcode 14.1 or later.
Since the latest macOS Build Stack runs Xcode 14.0.1, the Appflow team is working quickly to release a new Build Stack that fulfills this new requirement (it will run Xcode 14.2). This post will be updated when it is available.
Once this new Build Stack is available, we recommend using it to submit a new version of an iOS app to the App Store.
